1. What does Hosea tell Israel not to do in verse 1?

2. From verses 2-6 we see that prosperity is to leave God’s people. What would the Israelites not be able to do like they had when they were in Israel?

3. What does the reference to Memphis in verse 6 mean?

4. What are nettles and thorns a sign of?

6. Why does the prophet, the watchman of Israel, face snares and hostility?

7.  The prophets are so corrupt that the situation is compared to what happened in Gibeah. What happened there?
